This month, we had 2 Japanese exchange students stay with us for the weekend. They are studying here in the U.S. for 6 months, to learn English. We took them to the mall and some of our favorite places. It was fun hearing them speak Japanese and I got to learn a little bit from them. They taught us how to make origami; we made a crane & a zebra. It was a lot of fun. We get to see them again on Thanksgiving along with 2 other students so that they can experience an American family tradition. It should be fun.

Halloween!!
On Halloween, we went to the Evans house to have a party. First, we had dinner and then pumpkin pie and cupcakes. I went trick or treating with all of my friends. I wasn't expecting to go trick or treating at houses and be surprised by people jumping out of bushes. It was so funny when I looked in Caleb's candy bucket, I saw a 5 inch butter finger bar. I got a lot of candy had a lot of fun.

Grandma is here!!!
This week my grandma came from LA , California to visit us for a week and see the beautiful Fall here in Spokane. She traveled by train; a two day ride. Grandma was telling me about the sites she saw like Mount Shasta and Mount Hood. When she got here in Spokane we took her to all of our favorite places like the Japanese garden, Frank's Diner (our favorite restaurant which is in an old train), we went shopping at the mall and showed her all around the city. When she saw all the leaves, she said the yards looked like they were carpeted with gold. Grandma liked the pretty houses and our church. Even though the weather is cold here, Grandma said it was better than Michigan weather. She enjoyed her trip, but misses her dog, Noel. She really likes our dog, Penny. She played with her a lot.
